Field Trip to PT Sport Glove Indonesia

Have you ever wondered what is it like inside a factory?

Last week, our Grade 5 and 6 students were lucky enough to visit PT Sport Glove Indonesia, one of the factories that produce high-quality gloves in Yogyakarta.

Students were able to see an impressive real-life working environment and learn about all the procedures that go into producing a huge variety of gloves - from receiving raw materials to finished product assembly and quality checks.

The trip was made in relation to our unit of inquiry: ‘How We Organize Ourselves.’ The central idea of this unit is “social organizations impact upon the well-being of individuals in a community”. The trip was educational and fun and helped the students think more about how a working community functions. Thank you to everyone at PT.
